GILBERT A. SILER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Gilbert Arnold Siler, 76, of Ammon, passed away July 7, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 27, 1931 to Printice Quince Siler and Beulah Luella Harlin Siler in St. Louis, Missouri. His family moved to Los Angeles, California when he was four years old he attended schools there. He joined the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
He married Hazel Ruth Gardner on August 6, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had three sons, Gene, Gil, and Glenn. He worked in construction all of his life and was a member of the Lather's Local 42L and Carpenters Local 944 Union. Hazel passed away August 9, 2002.
He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, and football. "PapaGil" especially enjoyed his grandchildren, David and Alexis Siler and John Buckley and great granddaughter, Aryanna Siler.

Grandchildren: David Siler, Alexis Siler, and John Buckley
Great Granddaughter: Aryanna Siler
Brother: Harold (Jeanne) Siler, Southern California
He was preceded in death by his wife and brother, Leon Clay Siler.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., July 21, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park with military rites performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team and Idaho National Guard.
