GERALDINE STAMPER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Geraldine “Jerry” Atkins Stamper, 81, of Idaho Falls, died February 12, 2002, at her home.
She was born June 30, 1920 at Warfield, Kentucky to David Atkins and Rosabelle Atkins. She attended schools in the area, graduating from Ashland High School in Ashland, Kentucky.
She married Virgil Edmond Stamper on May 2, 1942 at Ashland, Kentucky. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker and worked at the Credit Bureau of Newport News, Virginia. She was a quarter finalist in the Kentucky Hand Quilting Contest.
She was a member of the St. Anthony Foursquare New Life Christian Center. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening, loved watching the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team play, and spending time with her granddaughter, Heather.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Foncine Stamper, four brothers, Al Atkins, John Atkins, Walter Atkins, William Atkins, and a sister, Gertrude Farley Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2002, at the Shiloh Foursquare Church (502 2nd Street), with Pastor Tony Maupin officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
