Geraldine Rule Machuga

GERALDINE L. MACHUGA IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Geraldine Lucille Rule Machuga, 81, of Idaho Falls, died May 24, 2005, at her home. She was born November 30, 1923, at Mulberry Grove, Illinois to Melvin Rule and Elsie Winters Rule. The family moved to Livingston, Illinois where she attended schools, graduated from high school and resided for 72 years. On June 30, 1945, she married George Machuga in Staunton, Illinois. She worked as a waitress for 15 years at Hi Cafe in Staunton. Five years ago, she and her husband moved to Idaho Falls. She was a Jehovah Witness. She loved flower gardens, antiques and reading. Geraldine was also a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are: Husband: George Machuga, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Lawrence (Renea) Machuga, St. Ann, MO Son: George Raymond (Ellen) Machuga, Staunton, IL Son: Lee (Robin) Machuga, Idaho Falls, ID 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2005, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1480 Jefferson). Burial will be in Spangle Cemetery in Livingston, Illinois at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, P. O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83405.
