AMMON, ID -- Gerald Jeffs “Jerry” Finn, 82, of Ammon, passed away November 5, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born August 13, 1925, in Rigby, Idaho, to Eugene Finn and Edith Jeffs Finn. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
He married Elaine Norton November 24, 1946, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He worked as a parts and service manager for Ellsworth Dodge until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; the love of his life passed away October 14, 2004.
Jerry was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in various church callings and was currently serving as a home teacher. He enjoyed golf, hunting, bowling, and working with his hands.

Son: Larry C. Finn of Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Steven G. Finn of Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: L. E. “Mick” Finn of Salt Lake City, UT
Brother: Dono E. “Bud” Finn of Idaho Falls, ID
10 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, and a sister, Vonda Jensen.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Ammon LDS 21st Ward, 4030 John Adams Parkway, with Bishop Darin Merrill officiating. The family will meet with friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and the Idaho Honor Guard.
