God knew that Jerry was suffering, and was in so much pain,
and knew he would never get well on earth again.
God saw his path was difficult, so he closed his tired eyes,
then whispered to him "Peace be Thine," then gave him wings to fly.
With his eternal sleep, calm, and free of pain,
you would not wish him back to earth to suffer once again.
He's left precious memories that you, his family,
will always keep close in thought, and in your hearts.
He'll live on ~ through you ~ his children and grandchildren.
It broke many hearts to lose him, but he did not go alone,
for a part of all of you went with him on the day God called him home.
How difficult it has been for you Alexis, & Jared to have to give up your Mom, and now your Dad over to their eternal side of life.
May God's love and presence comfort your hearts and souls at this difficult time for you and your families.
