RANDY PILKINGTON IDAHO FALLS, ID - George Randall “Ryne” Pilkington, 85, of Shelley, died September 19, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born September 19, 1920, in Smithfield, Utah, to Edward Pilkington and Rose Mae Seamons Pilkington. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from North Cache High School. On March 28, 1940, he married Dorothy Leavitt in Idaho Falls. In 1956, their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple by Elder Spencer W. Kimball. He was a roofer and also worked at RT French Co. in Shelley. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. Survivors are: Wife: Dorothy Pilkington, Shelley, ID Son: Arlen Pilkington, Blackfoot, ID Daughter: Arlene DeMille, Shelley, ID Son: James Pilkington, Challis, ID 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by six brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Shelley LDS 8th Ward (184 N. Park). The family will visit with friends Saturday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
