George W. Mills - 06/27/2002 George W. Mills - 06/27/2002 GEORGE W. MILLS IDAHO FALLS, ID: George William Mills, 69, of Idaho Falls, died June 26, 2002, at his home. He was born September 20, 1932 at Twin Falls, Idaho to Ira Wesley Mills and Florene Salwaechter Mills. He grew up and attended schools in Twin Falls. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He married Phyllis Lorraine Sheets on May 15, 1955 at Mesa, Arizona. He worked for Mountain Bell and U.S. West for 35 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a Boy Scout Leader and coached Grid Kid Football. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, rock hunting, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are:Wife: Phyllis Mills, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Wes (Carmen) Mills, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Cathy (Doug) Baldwin, Tacoma, WASon: Stan (Shelley) Mills, Idaho Falls, IDSon: John Mills, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Candy Bailey, Emmett, ID 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents. FUNERAL SERVICESFuneral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Pastor Les Moore of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. The family will meet with friends at 12:30 p.m. prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
