Patti Eugenia "Genia" Davis, 51, of Idaho Falls, passed away on May 22, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was born June 7, 1964, in Gridley, California to Orville Eugene Mulkins and Patricia Parrott. She graduated from East High School in Pueblo, Colorado. On October 20, 1984, she married Coy DeWayne Davis in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. To this eternal union were born three children: Brittany, Chaz, and Tyler. Patti was a devoted wife and mother and worked as a Paraprofessional with School District #93. She had a gift for teaching and loving special needs children. She loved seeing her students learn their first sight word, letter or line of Braille. Genia was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and crocheting. She especially loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors are: Husband: Coy Davis of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Brittany Dawn (Tyson) Bowden of Jerome, ID; Son: Chaz DeWayne (Megan) Davis of Centerville, UT; Son: Tyler Blake Davis of Idaho Falls, ID; Father: Orville Eugene Mulkins of Springfield, MO; Mother: Patricia Hildebrandt of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister: Shawna (Randy) Bragg of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister: Malisa Bassett of Brighton, CO; Sister: Autumn Senkow of Longmont, CO; Sister: Nikkona Hildebrandt of Encino, CA; 5 Grandchildren: Charlie Dawn Bowden, Lynlie May Bowden, Tayten Aliece Bowden, Bentley Kate Davis, and Calvin DeWayne Davis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at the Idaho Falls LDS East View Ward (2349 Virlow). The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
