Genevieve “Jenny” Lavé Godinez, 80, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away March 8, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Sparks, Nevada.
She was born March 6, 1933, in Greeley, Colorado, to Placedio Lavé and Jennie Romero Lavé. She was the oldest girl of ten children. She grew up and attended schools in Montana.
On May 5, 1977, she married Jesus Godinez in Riverton, Wyoming. Jesus passed away October 26, 1995.
Jenny enjoyed music, dancing, house and yard work, sweeping her porch and cleaning. She was an amazing cook and liked to camp and cook outside. Jenny also enjoyed a good yard sale and thrift stores. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grand children.

Daughter, Linda Kay Flores-Jauregui of Idaho Falls, ID;
Sister, Betty Lavé Frank of Billings, MT;
Sister, Marlene Lavé Florez of Lovell, WY;
Sister, Marcella Lavé of Billings, MT;
Brother, Dave Lavé of Billings, MT;
Brother, Louis Lavé of Post Falls, ID;
Brother, Dan Lavé of Billings, MT;
20 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus, two sons, Billy Flores and David Joe Flores, a daughter, Jenny Lou Flores, four brothers, Michael, Rodger, Joe, Albert, a sister, Helen DeGuiair and a grandson Richard I. Martell.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 9th & Lee. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
