Click Here To View Memorial Video Click Here To View Funeral Services Gene Delbert Clements, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 2, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Gene was born May 16, 1943, in San Diego, California, to Merland Delbert Clements and Vera Annie Landon Clements. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On November 19, 1960, he married Connie Mansfield in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They raised their family of four children in Idaho Falls. Gene worked as salesman, mechanic, a fireman for 25 years, and picture framer. He was one of Idaho Falls first Emergency Medical Technicians. For over 35 years, he and Connie ran KC Frames, their picture framing shop. Connie passed away October 15, 2011. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. He loved working in the Cub Scout organization where he served in many district leadership positions. He served in many positions in Ducks Unlimited, including State chairman and on the D.U. national committee. Gene enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved the outdoors and was a true sportsman. Gene was dearly loved by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he dearly loved them. Spending time with all his family was one of his life’s greatest pleasures. They loved to sit and hear about all of his shinanigins that he got into when he was young. Survivors include his Daughter, Connie Marie (Bob) Studer of Rupert, ID; Daughter, Pamela Sue (Warren) Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Robert Gene (Tammy) Clements of Richland, WA; Brother, Joe (Lynda) Clements of Sandy, UT; Brother, Bryan (Kathy) Clements of Castledale, UT; 10 Grandchildren and their spouses: Aubrie (Chuck) Pierson, Stephanie (Keith) Long, Amanda Studer, Jared Studer, Joshua (Jamie) Peterson, Daniel (Courtney) Peterson, Robbie Clements, Zach Clements, John Clements, and David Clements; 4 Great Grandchildren: Madison Long, Catherine Long, Makayla Pierson, and Nathanael Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Connie, a son, Scott D. Clements, and a brother, Larry Buddy Clements. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Gregg Johnson of the Idaho Falls LDS Kearney 1st Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 10: 45 a.m. Thursday, both visitations at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Museum of Idaho. (200 N. Eastern Ave.)
