GARY K. SAYER IDAHO FALLS, ID - Gary K. Sayer, 70, of Idaho Falls, died December 6, 2003, at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.. He was born July 28, 1933 in Idaho Falls to William H. Sayer and Ora Hodge Sayer. He grew up and attended schools in the area. He served in the U. S. Army 116th Engineering Battalion during the Korean War. He married Winona Brunson in Idaho Falls. Together they had six children. They lived in Idaho Falls and California and were later divorced. He worked as a mechanic in the family automobile business for a short time. He then went into sales, moved to Santa Rosa, California, and worked for Sears. Upon returning to Idaho Falls, he operated a service station and went on to sell real estate with his brother for a short time. He eventually opened his own office and became a certified real estate appraiser. Due to ill health, he moved to Salmon, Idaho for several years and then returned to Idaho Falls. Surviving are: Son: William R. ( Dixie) Sayer, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Gary L. (Jan) Sayer, Redding, CA Son: David W. Sayer, Sacramento, CA Son: Michael T. (Nikki) Sayer, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Ron Sayer, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Dick Sayer, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Warren Sayer, Idaho Falls, ID 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two half brothers, A. Max Ellison and Hodge H. Ellison; and two children, Suzanne and Alan Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday December 10, 2003, at the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83402-4092.
