Gary S. Mitchell - 02/18/2003 Gary S. Mitchell - 02/18/2003 GARY S. MITCHELL IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Gary Samuel Mitchell, 69, of Idaho Falls, died February 15, 2003, at his daughter’s home. He was born August 4, 1933, at Burton, Idaho, to Clyde Mitchell and Katherine McCulloch Mitchell. He grew up and attended schools in the Burton area. He married JoAnn Jockumsen in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He was an Electronics Technician most of his life and worked for Prisbe's TV Service in Montana and for Just's Appliance in Idaho Falls. He had lived in Grande Rhonde, Oregon and in Billings, Montana before coming to Idaho Falls six months ago, to be near his daughter. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed dogs, playing the guitar, and writing poetry. Surviving are:Daughter: Tamara (Keith) Forsgren, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Tony Freestone, Billings, MT 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by parents, sister and stepson. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS 2nd Ward, 885 South Boulevard, with Bishop Bowen Huntsman officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Woo d Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Thursday for one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church.
