Gary Mcmanus

Gary James McManus passed away, Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Murray, Utah, after a valiant battle with cancer. Gary was born April 28,1955, to Albert Gene and Genevieve McManus in Concord, California. He was an only child for twelve years. He was their whole world. On June 6,1967, along came a surprise 'Joan Mary'. She truly is a great addition to their family. Gary attended school in Concord, California, and graduated from UC Berkley in June 1978, with a BA in Chemical Engineering. He went work immediately after graduation at the INEL. Most recently, he was employed at Portage Environmental Inc. Gary loved the outdoors. He spent many hours just traveling on the back roads and exploring nature. He had many hobbies which included camping, fishing, bowling, and golfing. On August 18,1990, he married Joan Reseigh who he loved and cherished. She is so thankful for the opportunity she had to have a family to take care of. We are so love our son, Chris, who we are so proud of. He has excelled in his journey and will continue to do so. His son, Stephen, lives in Modesto, California. Gary is survived by his wife of 25 years Joanie, sons Chris and Stephen, granddaughter Serenity, father Albert Gene of Concord CA, sister Joan of Oakland CA. He had many aunts and uncles that loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his dear mother Ginny.
