Garry Dallas Jordan

Garry Dallas Jordan, 77, died June 9th, 2021 due to injuries sustained from a vehicle accident in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was born August 15th, 1943, in Sturgis, South Dakota to Dallas and Esther Jordan. He was the second child of three and first-born son, and grew up in Vale, South Dakota on a working farm growing sugar beets, potatoes and a large variety of other commodities. This is where is strong work ethic all began. When he was a sophomore in high school he moved with his family to Phoenix, Arizona where he went to work helping his dad with his landscaping business. After graduation, he accepted a job working for United Bank and over time moved into a management position. He was in the banking business for seven years and during this time he got married and had two daughters Janell and Jennifer. Eventually Garry decided he wanted to go back into the landscaping business with his dad, and in time took over and expanded the company. At the age of 30, Garry found he had a love for the art of ceramics. In addition to his landscaping, he started another company called Dreamy Draw Ceramics and spent many hours pouring molds and working with kilns firing artwork his customers created. Even after he sold his business fifteen years later, he continued the ceramic hobby off and on over his lifetime.

In 1990 Garry married the love of his life Mary Ann and this was the beginning of the most exciting and loving time in his life. Together they each supported each other through good and difficult times never losing the deep love they had for each other. In 1999 they moved to California to be closer to their grand-babies and be part of their lives. They lived there for twenty years and Garry started a moving company helping to move seniors from their homes to assisted living facilities. He became well known and loved by everyone he came in contact with over the years. In 2017, after Garry retired they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where he was able to spend time with kids, grand-kids and great grand-kids.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann of Idaho Falls; six daughters and two sons, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, one of which is with him now, waiting to make his or her entrance into our family;  Ronni of Idaho Falls; Janell Kelly (Kevin) of Weirton, Pennsylvania; Jeanette Clark (John) Bozeman, Montana; Jennifer Howard (Jim) of Gilbert, Arizona; Melissa Drey (Norm) Wadell, Arizona; Cami Elliott of Phoenix, Arizona; Ed Lucas of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Frank Elliott (Amanda) Idaho Fall, Idaho.
