Gale Christensen

GALE W. CHRISTENSEN IDAHO FALLS, ID - Gale Webster Christensen, age 75, passed away on February 20, 2004, in Salt Lake City with his family at his side. He was born on June 29, 1928, to Martin Albert Christensen and Idella Webster in Roberts, Idaho. He married Fannie Harmon on November 15, 1951, in the Idaho Falls Temple. She preceded him in death. He later married JeNean Curtis. They were later divorced. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served a mission in the Idaho Falls Temple. Gale loved to go fishing, sightseeing and trips to visit his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who were his pride and joy . He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. The family wants to thank Heritage Bennion Care Center for the care and support Gale received. Surviving are: Daughter: Gwen (Bill) Rognon, Taylorsville, UT Daughter: Idella (Philip Beebe) Glad, Phoenix, AZ Daughter: Twylla (Mike) Blackburn, West Valley City, UT Sister: Eva Connell, Idaho Falls, ID 14 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. H e was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6-8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
