FRED D. SOUTHWICK
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Fred Darrell Southwick, 75, of Idaho
Falls, died August 27, 2004, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to Fred J. Southwick
and Cleora Naomi Rapp Southwick. The family moved to Salt Lake City where
he attended schools and graduated from East High School. After high school,
he joined the U. S. Navy where he was an instrument technician instructor
in Memphis, Tennessee during World War II.
On February 25, 1950, he married Joyce Allred. They were
later divorced. He lived in Utah, Colorado, and California. In 1969, they
moved to Idaho were he worked for Aerojet. He was employed by Aerojet
Nuclear, EG&G, Idaho and Lockheed Martin at the INEL before retiring
in 1995.
On May 11, 1990, he married Shawna Ann Burke-Reynolds
in Idaho Falls.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, skiing,
and any activities he did with family and friends.

Son: Michael Southwick, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Jeffrey (Debbie) Southwick, Idaho Falls, ID
Stepdaughter: Victoria (Chad) Young, Logan, UT
Son-in-law: Joe Hayes, Kingsburg, CA
Brother: David J. (Bardee) Southwick
12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lee Hayes.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, August
31, 2004, at the Wood Funeral Home East Side, with R. Dix Hoffman officiating.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:30 to
8:30 p.m., at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
Military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County
Veterans Team.
