Fredrick Herman Hughes, 79, of Ammon, passed away September 22, 2025, at his home. He was under the care of Symbii Hospice and his loving family.
Fred was born August 13, 1946, in Montrose, Colorado, to Dan Hughes and Jean Frogge Hughes. He attended schools and graduated in Montrose, Colorado.
On June 17, 1973, he married Wanda Faun Hughes in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fred and Wanda made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Fred owned and operated Drywall Enterprises of Southeast Idaho.
He was a member of the Corvette Club of Southeast Idaho. He enjoyed camping, horses, and riding his Harley.
Fred is survived by his son, Justin Hughes of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Kenny Stockemer of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Michelle Iverson of Mesa, AZ; grandson, Steven Stockemer; grandson, Xeian Frusti; granddaughter, Kayla Hughes; and great grandchildren, Greyson, Nixon, Juniper, Esther, and Oziah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Faun Hughes; brother, Mike Hughes; brother, Chuck Hughes; and sister, Patricia Hughes.
