Frank Ueda - 01/30/2003 Frank Ueda - 01/30/2003 FRANK UEDA IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Shoji “Frank” Ueda, 75, of Idaho Falls, died January 30, 2003, in Idaho Falls of natural causes. He was born March 28, 1927, at Idaho Falls, to Tsurunoseke Ueda and Rinno Komiyama Ueda. He was a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls and attended schools here, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. He then graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Marketing. He served in the U. S. Army for two years. He was a member of the Japanese American Citizens League and the American Bowling Congress. He worked as a farmer and as an accountant for Al Brownell in his book store until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, gambling, pool, and sports. Surviving are:Brother: Masaji Ueda, Idaho FallsBrother: Shiro [Dale] Ueda, Nacogdoches, TXSister: Kazue Kawauchi, Hilo, HISister: Chiz Kamachi, St. Anthony, IDHe was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dave and Sho. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge. The family will visit with friends on Monday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
