FRANK E. JACKSON, JR. IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Frank Elwood Jackson, Jr., 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 15, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1946, in Ontario, Oregon, to Frank Elwood Jackson, Sr. and Alverna May Scheidell Jackson. He grew up and attended schools in Portland, Eugene, and Springfield, Oregon, and graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Denver, Colorado. He served as an aircraft mechanic in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After the war he went to work for United Airlines. He married Leah Nora Reichle in 1964 and they divorced in 1975. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was an inventor and loved building things with his hands. He had an unusual aptitude for mechanics and enjoyed his work. Surviving are: Daughter: Dawn A. Jackson Son: Randall J. Jackson Father: Frank E. Jackson, Sr. of Everett, WA Mother: Alverna M. Jackson of Shoreline, WA Brother: Duane (Janice) Jackson of Puyallup, WA Sister: Connie (Keith) Welch of Klamath Falls, OR Sister: Alicia Crosier of Portland, OR 3 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by two children, Dawn M. Jackson and Frank E. Jackson III. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the Idaho Falls First Presbyterian Church, 325 Elm Street, with Reverend Dr. Dennis Falasco officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Military Rites and Burial will be in the Idaho Veterans Cemetery, 6100 North Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise, Idaho, 83714, under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
