FRANK ITAYA
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Frank Fumio Itaya, 89, of Idaho Falls,
died February 7, 2004, at his home. He was under the care of Aspen Hospice.
He was born June 24, 1914, in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to B.
Itaya and Waki Shibata Itaya. At age 6, he was taken to Kyushu, Japan, to
receive his education and returned to Kemmerer for eight years to work in
the family business. He then moved to Idaho Falls, where he has lived for
65 years.
He married Yukino Mayeda, February 20, 1939, in Kemmerer,
Wyoming.
He and his family owned and operated a laundry & dry
cleaning business in Kemmerer, Wyoming. He also worked as an automobile
mechanic at Bonneville Auto, farmed with his brother northeast of Idaho
Falls, and retired as a maintenance foreman at two local potato warehouses.

Great Grandchildren: Evan Taka Buckland

Erin Hana Bailey
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a son-in-law,
Henry.
Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, February
13, 2004, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge), with the Reverend Thom Larsen
of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to
the services.
Services are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home,
273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83402.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations
be made to Aspen Hospice.
