Frank "Toby" Gibbons - 07/20/2002 Frank "Toby" Gibbons - 07/20/2002 FRANK "TOBY" GIBBONS IDAHO FALLS ID -- Frank “Toby” Edmund Gibbons, 66, of Idaho Falls, died July 20, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born August 31, 1935 at Rexburg, to Frank Charles Gibbons and Margaret Ellsworth Gibbons. He grew up and attended schools in the area. He served as a Sargeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On February 1, 1957, he married Ruth Louise Radford in Rigby. He had worked as a commercial painting contractor since 1961. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge. Frank enjoyed fishing and playing with his grandchildren. Surviving are:Wife: Ruth Gibbons, Idaho FallsDaughter: Twinkie (Ron) Swafford, Idaho FallsDaughter: Kathy (Ted) Trillhaase, Idaho FallsDaughter: Karen (David) McMurtrey, Idaho FallsDaughter: Dorothy Baldwin, Idaho Falls 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Lynn Radford officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.
