FRAN WADSWORTH
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Frances Amelia Wadsworth, 85, of Idaho
Falls, died January 26, 2005, at her home. She was under the care of Aspen
Hospice and Dr. Kenneth Krell.
She was born May 4, 1919, in Billings, Montana, to Paul
Heimberger and Clara Bishoff Heimberger. She grew up and attended school
In Idaho Falls, and graduated from Albion State Teachers College.
She married Thomas Jerald Wadsworth November 14, 1957,
in Shoshone, Idaho. He preceded her in death June 8, 1992. She taught
public school at Albion, Idaho, and at Hawthorne and Emerson Elementary
Schools in Idaho Falls. She started her own private school, “The
Kindergarten,” and was an inspiration to all she taught. She received
many high school and college graduation cards from her students.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she taught
in Primary and Sunday School and served in a Stake Primary Presidency.
She loved teaching children both in school and in church.
Surviving are:
Daughter: Debra Sue Wohlschlegel, Hawaii
Sister: Ruth Elizabeth “Betty” Polis, Versaille, Kentucky
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, John Dugan.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January
29, 2005, at the Woodruff 2nd Ward, 1660 - 12th Street, with Bishop O'Dell
Young officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00
p.m., at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and From 10 to 10:45 a.m.,Saturday
at the church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
