Frances Ann (Kolman) Gonzalez

Frances Ann Gonzalez, 63, of Pocatello, passed away April 24, 2021, surrounded by family at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

On December 7, 1957 Shirley and Bob Kolman along with their two children, Deanna and Robert, celebrated the birth of Frances Ann Kolman. She grew up in Dietrich, Idaho, where she eventually met the love of her life, Joe Gonzalez. They were married on June 1, 1974.

Their family grew as they had two girls, Machele and Lisa, over the next five years. Their family continued to grow as they became grandparents and later great grandparents. Fran loved her grandchildren and especially her great granddaughter.

Over the years they moved around and amassed a large group of friends who Fran stayed in contact with.  Fran had a great sense of humor and was always quick with a joke. She was a no-nonsense lady that would tell it like it was. Her smile would light up the room brighter than the glitter and bling that she would wear, as she would say "glitter is my favorite color". Her laugh would make peoples day better and was contagious. She always was there to help anyone in need.

She will be dearly missed but will be waiting in heaven with a foot bath ready and a gin and tonic in hand. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
