FRANCES HUBER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Frances Kobylarz Huber, 96, of Idaho Falls passed away May 6, 2007 at Mallory House. She was born in Passaic, New Jersey, December 22, 1910, to Michael and Anna Kobylarz. She married John Huber May 21, 1933. They lived in Garfield, New Jersey, where they were members of St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church. Frances lived in the same house at 5 Bergen Street for seventy years. They had three children, two boys and one girl. Frances was a homemaker while her children were being raised. When she was widowed in 1963, she went to work for Shulton, Inc., makers of Old Spice, where she worked in their data processing department until her retirement in 1976. She moved to Idaho Falls in August of 2003 to be near her daughter. Although she was homesick for her beloved New Jersey, she made the most of her life in Idaho and appreciated all the things she was able to see and do here. She loved going on the Fairwinds bus when they went on scenic drives, and she enjoyed their Friday afternoon cheese and wine socials, but her absolute favorite activity was playing Bingo four mornings each week. Regular comments coming from her were, "I never saw anything like that before!" and "We don't have anything like that in New Jersey!" She made many friends at Fairwinds and the staff there found her to be one of the most friendly, happy, and easy going residents they ever knew. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Fairwinds for the loving care and attention they gave Frances during her years there. Frances said that everyone was always so kind to her and they made her feel safe. The family would also like to thank the staff of Mallory House and Hands of Hope Hospice for all they did for Frances during her final weeks. Survivors include: Daughter: Diane McMullin, Rigby, ID Son: John Huber, New Haven, CT Son: Henry Huber, Hancock, NH Sister: Loretta Billingsley, Decatur, GA Sister: Florence Dombal, Manasquan , NJ She was preceded in death by her husband, John; brothers, Albert, Joseph, Michael and Henry Kobylarz; and sisters, Eva Mock, Josephine Killheffer and Mildred Szely; and granddaughter Kelly McMullin. She was a great companion and friend to my grandpa, Grant Bybee, during their time together at the Fairwinds. My mother, RonnaLee Sommers, and I wanted to extend our condolences and to let you know that Dad/Grandpa thought highly of Frances and spoke fondly of her often. He looked forward to their meals together at the table by the fireplace and she was so sweet to always save a spot for him! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May you find happiness and peace in the memories of her. Sincerely, Darady Van Orden and RonnaLee Sommers
