Frances Charlene (Austin) Mariani

Frances Charlene Mariani, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 22, 2023, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

Frances was born June 20, 1944, in Portola, California, to Charlie Lewis Austin and Clytie Morris Austin. She grew up and attended schools in Dos Palos, California, and graduated from Dos Palos High School.

On October 16, 1964, she married Johnny Ray Mariani in Dos Palos, California. Frances and Johnny made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Frances was as a wonderful mother and homemaker.

Frances was a member of the Baptist Church. She was very creative and talented. She enjoyed painting and artwork, craft work, and decorating her home, building furniture, and spending time working in her yard.

Frances is survived by her loving son, Darrin (Angie) Mariani of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Vivian Austin of Hollister, CA; and grandchildren, Cody and Brett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny; sisters, Bess Hogue and Bernell Flores; brothers, Charlie Austin, Clyde Austin, J.C. Austin, and Ovie Austin.
