Fontella Cobbley

Fontella “Fon” Cobbley, 77, passed away in her home on May 24, 2015. She was born August 24, 1937 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Wilbert and Muriel Atwood. She married the love of her life on May 27, 1955 in Blackfoot. Together, they had three loving daughters. Fon was a bank teller for 15 years and later ran the Courthouse Fitness Club in Pocatello. She enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Palisades, oil painting, and spoiling her grandchildren. Our “Nana” was greatly loved and will be truly missed. We love you Nana. Fon is survived by her husband of 60 years, Doug Cobbley, her three daughters, Debbie (Sam) Thiros, Barbara Morrison, and Kathie (Steve) George, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her little dog, Sophie. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Idaho Falls Junior Golf Association at Sage Lakes Golf Course, 100 E 65th N, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402 or the Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1810 Moran St., Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401.
