KENT LANDON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Floyd Kent Landon, 65, of Idaho Falls, died April 17, 2006, at his home.
He was born May 28, 1940, at Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Floyd Arthur Landon and Beula Hammer Landon. He attended Osgood Elementary and then Nampa State School. He lived most of his life in Idaho Falls and the last 18 years under the loving care of Becky Dean and his extended family at the Panorama Hills Living Center. He participated at the Developmental Workshop and Joshua Smith Foundation.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed scouting and being with his friends at the Special Needs Primary. He loved telling fish stories, eating hamburgers, having a coke, horses, and Momma’s cookies. Kent was an avid bowler, involved in Special Olympics, and touched many people’s lives.

Mother: Beula Landon, Idaho Falls
Sister: Pam (Larry) Talamantez, Ammon
Sister: Diane (David) Risenmay, Ashton
His extended family at Panorama Hills Living Center
He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Landon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.

I was Kent's Primary teacher in Special Needs Primary for many years. He was always so mild and loving. Even after he was changed to another class, he would stop by my classroom after Primary to see what I had for him. I loved knowing him and will be anxious to meet him again.
