Floyd Emmett Dragoman, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully July 31, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society Idaho Falls Village. He was under the care of Avalon Hospice. Floyd was born to Frank J. Dragoman and Mildred Beatty Dragoman in Santa Rosa, California on May 13, 1946 along with his twin brother, Francis E. Dragoman. He grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Santa Rosa High School. He attended Fresno State College before joining the United States Army where he served from 1965 to 1968. As a Vietnam Veteran, he earned the National Defense Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and two Bronze Service Stars while becoming an expert rifleman. On April 28, 1973, Floyd married Cindee Marie Cox Dragoman in Eureka, California. He worked in the grocery business and retired after 30 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Floyd was an avid hunter and fisherman along with being a loving husband and father. He touched the lives of many as a father figure. Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cindee Dragoman of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Frank P. Dragoman of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kacee (Joshua) Christiansen of Idaho Falls, ID; two grandchildren, Christopher Amante and Samantha Dragoman; older brother, Darryl (Janet) Dragoman of Newpine Creek, OR; twin brother, Francis (Alice) Dragoman of Lewisville, ID; sister, Susan (Steve) Jensen of Santa Rosa, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother, Lynn (Maureen) Dragoman. Private family services will be held at a later date.
