Florence Mcalevy

Florence Lottie Lords McAlevy, 74, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 25, 2011, at Idaho Falls Care and Rehabilitation Center from complications due to cancer. Florence was born June 3, 1938, in Choteau, Montana, to James Delbert Lords and Pearl Lorene Huffaker Lords. She grew up and attended schools in Salem, Idaho. On August 18, 1988, she married Lewis Eugene McAlevy in Idaho Falls. Together they raised one daughter, Sharon. Lewis passed away August 25, 2009. Florence worked as a laborer in the potato processing industry. She loved spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Reid of Idaho Falls; a brother, Delbert Lords of Idaho Falls; two sisters, Margie Thompson of Eureka, Nevada, and Christina Lords of Arkansas; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her in-laws; and a grandson. Private family services will be held under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
