To the Johnson Family:
I wanted to send you a note from the Beth Hansen Sanderson Family. My mother had such fond memories of her lifelong friendship with Flora. They shared so many things throughout their lives together. Mom passed away March 9, 2009 and Flora came to both the viewing and the funeral. Mother said that they had talked about who would leave this life first. They had picked out music that was supposed to be played at each others funerals depending on which one was still here. The last few years of their lives they talked on the phone a lot and Flora would mail poetry, stories and notes to mother. It helped them to deal with the lonliness that was there for both of them. Mother talked of their going to college and being roomates. She talked of many things that she and Flora did together and it always made her smile. I am sure they are having a glorious reunion. They are with their husbands now and other family and friends that have passed on. I feel so strongly that Flora is happy and at peace as well as is my mother Beth. Take care all of you and be happy for her - she will be welcomed by the Lord as a Good and Faithful Servent.
Please enjoy the flowers that were sent from the family - my mother would have wanted to send them had she been the one still here.
Our love to you all - from the Beth H. Sanderson Family.

Sister Johnson was one of the most amazing women I have ever met. My life is better just by knowing her. I would look forward every year to get my Happy Birthday call from her. She was always so happy and cheerful to talk to. We will miss one of the truly great women of our ward family!

I am a cashier at Winco Foods and really enjoyed talking with your mother, she and her friend Jean Hammon were the nicest customers. Your Mother was always so friendly and sweet, I will really miss her.

Larae, Robert, Howard and families: What a lovely service you presented for your Mother, today. I think, even with all the years of coaching from her, that she was very pleased by what was said and done....she'll probably even forgive you, Howard, for talking 25 minutes. It was all just done so well. We really enjoyed learning more about her and her life. And, of course, we will all miss her, but, I can't help but think how the postal service will miss the revenue she helped generate by all the stamps she bought over the years. Well done, Johnson children. May you find comfort in knowing you have served her well. Julia (and Scott)
