FLORA J. BRIGHTON
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Flora Cecelia Jensen Brighton, 84,
of Idaho Falls, died April 30, 2004, at her home.
She was born January 18, 1920, in Ucon, Idaho, to Alma
Jensen and Emma Rebecca Simmons. She grew up and attended schools in Ucon
and Ricks Academy in Rexburg.
She married William Henry Brighton August 23, 1939, in
the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Milo for the past
60 years.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints, and served in many positions. She enjoyed crocheting,
crewel embroidery, gardening, writing poetry, reading and spending time
with her family.

Daughter: Sharel (Merion) Farnsworth, Pocatello, ID;
Son: William J (Denece), Milo, ID;
Daughter: Ilene (Robert) Campbell, Aberdeen, ID;
Daughter: Annette Smith, Rigby, ID;
Daughter: LaRee (Steven) Karstad, Milo, ID;
Sister: Arda (Lowell) Jensen, Ucon, ID
25 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday,
May 5, 2004, at the Milo LDS Chapel, 12127 North 75 East, with Bishop
Kenneth Stucki, officiating.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 7 to
8 p.m.at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Rd., and for one hour
prior to services Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in the Milo Cemetery under the direction
of Wood East Side Chapel.
