Faye Ward

FAYE C. WARD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Faye Chaffin Ward, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 27, 2006, at her home of natural causes. Faye was born November 3, 1925, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Carlyle Chaffin and Erma Olivia Waldrum Chaffin. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. Faye and Charles Kent Ward were married June 3, 1946, in Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and mother. For over 20 years, they owned and operated Kent's Sales and Service, a lawn and garden equipment company. Kent passed away May 16, 2002. Faye was a homebody who loved to read and listen to music. Surviving are her three children, daughter, Terese W. (Rick) Bonney of Idaho Falls, and their children, Stephanie Bonney and Melissa (Kevin) Roberts, and grandchildren, Isabelle Olivia Roberts and John Michael Roberts, son, Curtiss Kent (Joy) Ward of Idaho Falls, and their children, Heather Christensen, Corrie Reed, and Blake Lee, and daughter, Ann (Gerry) Bates of Idaho Falls, and their son, Evan Bates. She is also survived by a brother, Larry (Greta) Chaffin of Dillon, MT, and a sister, Pat (Marv) Olson of Idaho Falls. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Kent Ward, a brother, Gayle Chaffin, and a sister, Maxine Duckworth. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at the Iona Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at 1992 East Lincoln Road, Idaho Falls, immediately following the services. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
