FAYE MARTIN
SWAN VALLEY, ID -- Faye Elizabeth Madsen Martin, 84, of Swan Valley, passed away August 5, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was under the care of Teton Valley Hospital Hospice.
She was born February 9, 1921, in Goshen, Idaho, to Enoch Madsen and Eliza Elizabeth Heward Madsen. She grew up in Goshen and attended schools in the area, graduating from Firth High School.
She married Wilford Alexander Martin December 4, 1942, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Swan Valley, where she was a homemaker and mother.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a Primary teacher, in the Young Women's organization, as a Ward Missionary, and as a worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. She enjoyed farming with her husband, gardening, and traveling with her husband on Veterans business. Faye enjoyed being a farm wife and hosting family gatherings, and adored her grandchildren.

Sister: Willena Fielding of Ogden, UT
21 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters, Janice and Janet, a son, Clinton (Tex), and a grandson, Matthew.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at the Palisades LDS Ward, on Highway 26 in Swan Valley, with Bishop Blair Jacobsen officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

Alex and family, I felt so bad when mom called us about Faye. She was one of my favorite ladies in Swan Valley. She was my favorite babysitter and nobody could bake like Faye. our family will keep you in our prayers. God Bless you all!
