Faye Hansen

Faye Whitney Hansen, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 6, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Faye was born February 16, 1942, in Mackay, Idaho, to Doyle C. Whitney and Helen McKelvey Whitney. She grew up and attended schools in Mackay. After high school graduation she took nurses training at St. Anthony Hospital in Pocatello. She married Dale Fillinger and they were later divorced. She married Darrell Wray and they were later divorced. In July of 1991 she married Reese Hansen. He preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter, Cindy (Ernie) Andrus of Idaho Falls; son, Tim Wray of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Amanda Faye (Robert) Messinger, Tonya Peterson, Ryan Peterson, and Daniel Ames, all of Idaho Falls, twins, Whitney Faye and Heather S. Wray, Raechel (Irene) and Sean (T.D.) Wray, all of Mesa, AZ; great grandchildren, Kirstan Faye, Madison Marie, and Jordan Ocean, Braxton Uriel, MacyLyn, and Jaiden Tyler Scott, Traven Doyle, and Teagan Ruth Ann, all of Idaho Falls. brother, Wally (Shari) Whitney of Sidney, MT; brother, Loren (Susan) Whitney of Twin Falls, ID; aunts & uncles, Don & Charlotte McKelvey, Mary Whitney and Clint Whitney, all of Mackay, ID; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Reese, grandparents, Willis & Cynthia Whitney and John & Ardella McKelvey, and several aunts and uncles. Faye requested cremation and no public services. Private family services will be held at a later date.
