CITY, ST -- Faye Elizabeth Farnes, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 13, 2007, at Rexburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 29, 1926, in Ammon to Benjaman Arthur Crow and Esma Elizabeth Waters Crow. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon.
In 1944, she married Bill Johnson in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. On November 18, 1954, she married Jay Elmer Farnes in Salmon, Idaho. She was a mother and homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Faye enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and playing cards.

Daughter: Sherree (Bob) Farnes, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Russell (Terry) Farnes, Boise, ID
Son: Mark (Kim) Farnes, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Kent Farnes, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Arthur (Ann) Crow, Dry Creek, Louisiana
Sister: Maxine (Robert) Smith, Idaho Falls, ID
10 Grandchildren & 14 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 4 brothers, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge), with Bishop Evan Johnson of the Idaho Falls LDS Park Taylor Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday for one hour prior to services, both at Wood Funeral Home.
