SCOTT GILMAN Click here to view a video of Scott's life IDAHO FALLS, ID -- F. Scott Gilman, 74, of Idaho Falls, died March 15, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1933, in Juneau, Alaska, to Frederick Joseph Gilman and Edna Elizabeth Roop Gilman. He served in the US Navy as an aviator during the Korean War. He worked as an electrical engineer in the aero space industry in La Habra, California. He married Joyce Bissett August 21, 1952, in Nevada. She preceded him in death November 19, 2001. He married Lillian 'Jean' Gilman December 6, 2003, in Yorba Linda, California. They made their retirement home in Idaho Falls. He enjoyed model airplanes and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Krissi, Scott, Shannon, Kenton, and Christine. Survivors include: Wife: Lillian Jean Gilman, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Valerie (Dan) Linke, NV Daughter: Susan (Kevin) Callahan, WA Daughter: Lori (Jim) Reeves, AZ Daughter: Mary Helen (David) Gonzalez, CA Sister: Sharon (Dr. John) Chesnut, CA 5 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Kay & Amylu. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Thursday for one hour prior to services. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team and the Idaho Honor Guard.
