Eyvonne 'Von' Hardy

Eyvonne Hermese Taylor Hardy 95, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 6, 2012 at The Gables of Shelley. She was under the care of Access Home Health and Hospice. Eyvonne was born June 14, 1917 in Almo, Idaho to Herman Hellsman Taylor and Sarah Ellen Durfee Taylor. She was the seventh child born to Herman and Sarah. On February 16, 1934, she married Milton Lorenzo Hardy in Oakley, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple in June of 1934. Milton passed away on July 3, 1996. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in numerous callings and served in various capacities. Von loved her family dearly and enjoyed visiting and listening to others. She enjoyed knitting and playing all types of games especially card games with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Jean (Bill) Maraffio of Ammon, Idaho Son: Delmer Glen Hardy of Phoeniz, AZ Son: William G. (Joyce) Hardy of Phoenix, AZ 13 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren with four on the way and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers; Fred, Art, Elmer, Zen, and Wilbur and her two sisters, Bert Kimber and Marge Bronson. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Ammon LDS Stake Center (2055 South Ammon Rd.) with Bishop Randy Collins officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

11:00 a.m. ,Saturday, December 15, 2012 Ammon LDS Stake Center 2055 S. Ammon Road Ammon, ID 83406 Notes: The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at Oakley Cemetery.
