Evyline Joyce "Dolly" (Eddy) Huber

Dolly passed away, in her home, with her family by her side, at 8:00 a.m. on April 1, 2022.

Dolly was born on July 3, 1945, in California to Shirley and Earl J. Eddy. She grew up in Lafayette, Oregon.

In 1964, she met and married her soulmate, David Huber. They continued to live in Lafayette, Oregon, with their children: Jackie, Dan, Mike, and Tina. In April of 2021, they moved in with Daniel (Traci) in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where David could have extra help caring for Dolly.

Dolly touched the lives of so many people. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in so many roles. Her favorite role was serving with the little children. She was a cub scout leader and drove a school bus for Dayton, Oregon students. She was gifted with talents for painting, crafting, writing poetry and so much more, and she loved to read, go on road trips, and camping. She loved to give home-crafted gifts to those she loved and cared for.  It could have been a card, note, a song, or a poem. These are the things Dolly will be remembered for. Everyone that knew her loved her, and knew she loved her family very much!

Dolly is survived by her husband, David Huber; children, Jackie (Jeff), Daniel (Traci), Michael, and Tina (David); sisters, Orlena, Tina, and Rozann; grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan (Shelby), Brady, Nichole (James), Stephanie (Ryan), Kaili (Josh), Danielle (Nick), Jaici (Jesse), Staci (Tony), Aiden (McKenna), Adom, Laini, Linzi, Alex, and Elli; and 15 great grandchildren.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Treva “Joni” and Earline “Punky;” and brothers, Robin and Richard.

A celebration of life will be held for Dolly on June 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. It will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 700 Ash Street, in Dayton, Oregon.
