EVELYN WEEKS IDAHO FALLS, ID - Evelyn Virginia Barrett Weeks, 73, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died May 21, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1930, in Almo, Idaho, to William Marshall Barrett and Nina Rosena Litson Barrett. She attended the Malta Public Schools. She married Harry Cook Weeks June 13, 1950. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed music, dancing and poetry and had published a book of her own poetry. Surviving are: Son: Lowell L. Weeks, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Howard Leon Weeks, Bend, OR Son: Harold Gene (Deanna) Weeks, Jasper, IN Son: Ferren Weeks, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Douglas Kay (Peggy) Weeks, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Joan Chapple, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Joe (Luana) Barrett, Malta, ID Brother: Dean (Evelyn) Barrett, Bountiful, UT 15 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, at the Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Dale Madsen of the Idaho Falls LDS Westhill Ward. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services on Saturday at Wood East Side.
