Evelyn Nisson

LORRAINE NISSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Evelyn Lorraine Nisson, 81, of Idaho Falls, died July 11, 2004, at Portneuf Valley Rehab Center in Pocatello of causes incident to age. She was born July 6, 1923, in Idaho Falls, to William McDaniel and Ethel Phillips. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She was a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls. She married Frank Ray Nisson March 24, 1940, in Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and mother. Her husband passed away January 3, 1997. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as Relief Society Secretary. She was also an Honorary Life Member of the PTA. Her family was her life; she especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Surviving are: Son: Rick L. (Pauline) Nisson, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Kerry L. (Leslie) Nisson, Idaho Falls, ID 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Terry Ray Nisson. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Thursday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
