Evelyn Eddie Forman Blakely, 90, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away April 26, 2016, at Sage Grove Assisted Living in Rigby. Evelyn was born December 29, 1925, in Caldwell, Idaho, to James William Eddie and Myrtle Elizabeth Ellis Eddie. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. On February 18, 1946, she married Vernon D. Forman in Dillon, Montana. To this union were born five children, Judy, Michael, Randy, Terri, and Patricia. Evelyn and Vernon made their home in Idaho Falls, where Evelyn worked as a homemaker as well as for The Mart, Forman Pump Service, and Safeway’s. Vernon passed away in 1989. Evelyn married Marvin Blakely in July, 1991. He preceded her in death in 2010. Evelyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Elks, and the Star Valley Ranch. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, golfing, camping, motor biking, square dancing, bowling, pinochle, and spending time at the family home in Yuma. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Terri Smith of Idaho Falls; daughter, Patricia A. Swain of AK; brother, Bobbie (Nada) Eddie of Idaho Falls; brother, William D. Eddie; 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Randy Forman, Michael Forman, and daughter, Judy Forman Harris, her parents, a brother, Lloyd Eddie, and a sister, Theola Grover. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Jason Skillings of the Idaho Falls LDS 24th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
