Evelyn Almberg

Evelyn Rose Smaskow Almberg, 80, of Rigby, passed away May 16, 2011, at The Gardens Senior Living Center in Rigby, Idaho. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice. Evelyn was born August 25, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, to Gustov and Kristina Podochiski. She married Harry William Almberg in 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. Evelyn was a homemaker, clerk, bookkeeper, and telephone operator. Harry passed away June 29, 2009. Evelyn was a member of the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed antiques and reading. Evelyn is survived by her son, Kenneth Almberg of Jackson, WY, a daughter, Barb Haines of St. Charles, IL, a sister, Anna of Minnesota, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.. No services are planned.
