Eusebio De La Vega

Eusebio De La Vega, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 26, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Eusebio was born November 24, 1951, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Martin Vega Cuevas and Maria Avila Cornejo Cuevas. He spent half of his life in Mexico City and the other half in Idaho Falls. He fell in love May of 1993, and was legally married March 8, 1999, to Eulalia Areceli Solano-Flores De La Vega in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Eusebio and Eulalia made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Eusebio enjoyed dancing, soccer, and spending time with his family. Eusebio is survived by is loving wife of 24 years, Eulalia De La Vega of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Alberto (Brenda) Godoy of Big Sky, MT; son, Marcos (Rosa) Godoy of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Christian (Brandi) Godoy of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Walter De La Vega of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Eduardo De La Vega of Big Sky, MT; sister, Juana Vega-Avila of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jose Vega-Avila of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Laura Vega-Avila of Mexico; brother, Luis Vega-Avila of Mexico; brother Guillermo Vega-Avila of Mexico; sister, Maria Lydia Vega-Avila of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Fernando Vega-Avila of Mexico; sister, Antonia Vega-Avila of Mexico; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 161 9th Street, with Father Javier Corral Piña, officiating. A Rosary will be held Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with a visitation to follow until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to his wife, Eulalia.
