Eunice Madeline Lewis, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 9, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was under the care of Encompass Home Health.
Eunice was born June 7, 1922, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Carl G. Anderson and Amanda Marie Grahm Anderson. She grew up and attended grade schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
On July 23, 1953, she married George B. Lewis in Blackfoot, Idaho. To this union were born two children, Michael and Karen. Eunice and George made their home in Blackfoot, until they moved to Idaho Falls in 1960. Eunice worked for the Government General Land Office in Blackfoot and Boise, at Westinghouse at the INL, and for a tax accounting firm in Idaho Falls.
She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Eunice is survived by her
son, Michael G. (Diane) Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID;
daughter, Karen S. (Rocky) Patchin of Lacey, WA;
6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Amanda Anderson; husband, George B. Lewis; brothers, Harry, Johnny, and Earl Anderson; sisters, Edna Flint, Pearl Good, Elsie Winkler, and Mary Cooper.
