Eunice graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 1961, with a double major in education and music, combining her love of learning with her passion for music. She married the love of her life, Arlyn Batalden, on December 26, 1964. Together, they built a life filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories.
In 1978, Eunice and Arlyn moved to Buffalo, Wyoming, where they raised their two sons, Jason and Jared, and became a treasured part of the community. Eunice shared her musical talents and love for children as a music teacher at Meadowlark Elementary School. Through her teaching, she inspired countless students with kindness, patience, and love for music. She retired in 1999 after many years of faithful service to education.
In retirement, she and her husband dedicated their time and talents to MAPS RVers, serving various ministries and churches throughout the United States for 17 years before officially retiring in 2024.
