Ethel Inez (Henderson) Emmerson

Ethel Inez Emmerson, 93, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully November 23, 2022, at The Gables Assisted Living Center of Idaho Falls, with her family by her side. She faithfully served her God Jehovah as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1954.

Ethel was born March 11, 1929, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Walter Henderson and Gertrude Alexander Henderson.

She loved being out in nature. She was an avid painter, crocheter, and knitter. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Ethel is survived by her sons, Nathan (Marilyn) Hemperly of Pocatello, ID and Rick (Judy) Hemperly of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters-in-law, Bernie and Nancy Hemperly; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gertrude Henderson; her husband, Jack Emmerson; and sons, Scott and Steve Hemperly.
