Estelle ""Billie"" Gallant

Estelle "Billie" Corine Gallant, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 12, 2018, at her daughter’s home. She was under the care of Alliance Home Health and Hospice and her loving family. Estelle was born February 20, 1930, in Mineola, Texas, to Iciam Andy Bullard and Lottie Ora Hickman Bullard. She grew up in Tyler, Texas, where she attended school in a one-room schoolhouse. On December 15, 1948, she married Robert Emmett Gallant in Yuma, Arizona. To this union were born five children, Sherry, William, James, Linda and Madonna. As a family they settled in Idaho Falls after Bob’s retirement from the US Navy. He then worked and retired from the INEL. Together, Bob and Estelle owned and operated 2 B’s Ceramics in Idaho Falls. Estelle also worked various jobs to help their family while Bob was serving in the Navy. Bob passed away on August 9, 1997. She was a member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in Idaho Falls. Estelle enjoyed all types or crafts including ceramics, sewing, quilting and cross stitching. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Estelle is survived by her loving daughter, Sherry (Wes) Tankersley of Idaho Falls, ID; son, William Jeremiah (Karen) Gallant of Dover, DE; son, James Thomas (Toni) Gallant of Anaheim, CA; daughter, Linda Rocha of Corona, CA; daughter, Madonna (Scott) Fowler of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Charles (Von) Bullard of Westcliffe, CO; 17 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers; Sonny Bullard and David Bullard; sister, Pauline Ramsey; and a grandson, Joe Ambre. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, 793 Cleveland Street, with Pastor Mike Glaser officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Saturday from 12-12:45 p.m. prior. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
