ERNEST A. HERCHER, SR.
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ernest Adam Hercher, 82, of Idaho
Falls, died December 10, 2004, at the home of his daughter in Idaho Falls
of renal failure. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
He was born October 29, 1922, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas,
to Emil Maxmillian Hercher and Agnes Ruth Diemer Hercher. He grew up and
attended schools in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School.
He lived in Pine Bluff for 80 years. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps
during World War II.
He married Elizabeth Higman September 6, 1944, in Pine
Bluff, Arkansas. He worked as a sales rep for Ritchie Grocery Company
for many years and later owned and operated Davis Wholesale Company. Elizabeth
passed away in 1998. He moved to Idaho Falls a year and a half ago.
He was a lifetime member of the Central Presbyterian
Church in Pine Bluff and served as Elder. He enjoyed fishing and sports.
He was proud of his grandchildren, Haley, Mari, Libby and Gretchen Hercher.

Brother: J. B. Hercher, Tulsa, OK

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, and his parents.
Funeral Services will be at held at the Ralph Robinson
Funeral Home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff
under the direction of Ralph Robinson Funeral Home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Local arrangements are Wood Funeral Home.
