Ernest Budeau, 95, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away April 28, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of cancer.
Ernest was born October 9, 1915, in Anamoose, North Dakota, to Samuel Budeau and Salmina Schultz Budeau. He grew up and attended school in Anamoose.
He served in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II.
Ernest married Louise P. Harrison on December 15, 1948, in Salem, Oregon. They made their home in Healdsburg, California, until moving to Idaho Falls 21 years ago. Ernest worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Molalla Forest Products until his retirement in 1981.
Ernest enjoyed gardening and bowling, and loved to golf.
Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Louise, four daughters, Sandra (Bill) Schriver of Windsor, CA, Connie Budeau of Sacramento, CA, Linda (John) Collier of Ukiah, CA, and Judy Budeau of Clear Lake, CA; a brother, Edward (Cheryl) Budeau of ND; a sister, Esther (Melvin) Fiscum of CA; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers.
