ERLENE BUDGE
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Erlene Ricks Budge, 72, of Idaho Falls,
died June 5, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Erlene was born July 28, 1931, in Idaho Falls, to Archie
LeRoy Ricks and Lila Bunderson Ricks. She was raised in Lewisville and
graduated from Midway High School in 1949.
She moved to Victor after her marriage to Morris Russel
Kunz in January, 1951. Five years later they moved their family to Pocatello
where, years later, they were divorced. She continued to raise her five
children in Pocatello.
On May 21, 1976, she married Thomas Morgan Budge. Their
marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 22, 1977.
They spent the remainder of their years in Idaho Falls. She was a wife,
mother and homemaker. She also worked as an office manager of Billmeyers/Partsco
in Pocatello.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served in the Primary Presidency, as Sunday School Coordinator,
Homemaking Leader, and worked with the Special Interests group in both
Stake and Regional capacities. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and loved
children of all ages.

Brother: Larry (Alice) Ricks, Nephi, UT
Sister: Elva Jenks, Idaho Falls, ID
20 Grandchildren, 17 Step Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren,
and 36 Step Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Virgil Ricks;
a sister, Nola Olson; and a grandson, Travis Robinson.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10,
2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple View Ward (1450 Mountain View Lane),
with Bishop Dennis Reilly officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from
7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and Thursday for one hour
prior to the services at the church.
Burial Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Restlawn
Cemetery in Pocatello under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
